Greetings from Brasil 4/24/2015

Dear Family,
Once again we send our greetings. This week, we send them from Sao Paulo. Our mission president gave us the opportunity to go to the temple here. This is one of the advantages of the different set of mission rules for couples. We could not pass up the chance, as we have been unable to attend since our stay at the MTC in Provo. Unfortunately, there is no temple in Belo Horizonte. The members have to take an overnight bus ride to the temple in Campinas, a city a short distance from Sao Paulo. We are blessed to have a temple so close to our home in Sammamish that gives us ready access to the Seattle Temple to perform ordinances for our ancestors. At the temple, we met the father of one of the missionaries that we served with in Belo Horizonte. Quite a coincidence. We fly back to Belo Horizonte on Saturday, after another morning at the temple.
The trip also gave me the chance to show some of the sites of the city to Diane. The trip had a mixture of things that have changed and things that have stayed the same since I served my first mission here 40 years ago. The temple here is the biggest addition.
That's all for now.

Dad/Cliff
