Dear Family,
Our work continues to progress here in Pampulha. More members are accepting our invitation to identifying inactive friends and visit them with us. This has increased our success rate of being invited into homes to leave gospel messages.
The ward has started a weekly integration meeting. It is like a large home evening during the week where members, investigators, inactive members, and recent converts are invited. Last week, we had about 25 people in attendance.
We had a home evening at our apartment last week with investigators. They got to help make and try American oatmeal cookies.
Yesterday was our preparation day. We visited the nearby zoo and botanical gardens. I was impressed by the numbers of various Brazilian birds and mammals.
We are grateful to be serving here. I am reminded every day of the kindness of the Brazilian people and of their openness to hear our message about Jesus Christ and the blessings associated with the restoration of the gospel.
We are off for another day of adventure.
